How do we research(note taking)?

• To be able to summarize a work that makes it easy to understand

• To be able to identify relevant info.

I think note taking is basically reading a passage/work and just jot down the relevant..stuff! I think this is important because it helps to memorize things that is simplified, not memorize the whole thing.
